Payment - Payments a vehicle(s) or project(s) are required in installments. Vehicles and/or projects, which are to be added to the Bent Metal Customs Work Schedule, will require a non-refundable Reservation Down Payment. The Reservation Down Payment amount will be determined by you the customer and Bent Metal Customs. A minimum fee of $2,500 will be required on all new jobs, before any work is initiated. Please be advised that when it appears the initial $2,500 has been utilized for work on a vehicle, timely notice will be provided to you so that additional payment can be made to Bent Metal Customs. However, if additional payments are required, but not received, all work will be delayed until such necessary payment is made. A $50.00 fee applies for each returned check. We now accept credit cards.
Estimates - We will do our best to give you a ballpark figure for your project. Please remember that we are a time and material shop. Estimates in no way represent the final bill. Our employees use daily work logs to clock the hours on all shop projects. Customers are more then welcome at any time to schedule an appointment and go over the progress of their car.
Additional Work - Additional work may be added by the customer at any time, this in turn will delay the targeted completion date. Any additional work will be treated as a new job and will require a down payment of $1000.00.
Discounts - Bent Metal Customs in no way offers any discounts of any type. Please do not ask for any as we can not and do not work for free.
Shop Rate - Bent Metal Customs shop rate is $65/hr.
Materials - Bent Metal Customs orders materials per project. You are welcome to schedule an appointment to go over any questions you might have about the materials used on your project. An overhead mark up of 30% will be added to all materials furnished for your project.
Subcontractors - Bent Metal Customs subs out some of it work. (ie: Media Blasting and Painting) An overhead mark up of 15% will be added to all subcontractors who are used on your project.
Shop Visits - We welcome visits to examine the progress of your vehicle. However you must have a scheduled appointment to do so. We have a never ending list of customer projects to complete and our time, as is yours, is very valuable. Many of the projects we build consume a tremendous amount of time, which has a tendency to alter our project scheduling. Due to this fact, we kindly ask that you keep your shop visits as brief as possible so we can try to complete projects, including yours in a timely manner.
Shop Hours - Bent Metal Customs shop hours are Monday through Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-12. Saturday and Sunday closed. Our visiting hours are by appointment only.
Dropping Off / Picking Up Your Vehicle(s) and /or Project(s) - All vehicles and/or projects are required to be scheduled for work. Although we prefer to conduct vehicle drop-offs / pick-ups during regular business hours, non business hours appointments may be arranged. Under no circumstances should vehicle(s) and/or projects(s) be dropped off or picked up without Bent Metal Customs supervision.
Sales Tax - Bent Metal Customs does not charge sales tax, we collect it. Please do not ask to have the sales tax removed from your bill. There is a 6% sales tax mark-up on labor. If you pay in cash, the tax will not be removed from your bill - so please do not ask.
Storage - All customer property will be securely located inside Bent Metal Customs' facility while in Bent Metal Customs' possession.
Storage Fee - Customer is required to remove all vehicle(s) and/or project(s) 14 days after completion. After 14 days a daily $50.00 storage fee applies. All invoices, assessments, charges, fees, vehicles, projects, services and/or products must be paid in full before customer receives said vehicles, projects, services and/or products. No exceptions.
